movie time...

Saw Juno on Friday night. I must admit, expectations were high and the movie met all of those. Excellent film. Super sweet film that somehow avoids going overboard (mostly thanks to the sharp tongue and wit of the main character). Great acting. Michael Cera and Ellen Page are getting the rave reviews, but JK Simmons, Allison Janney, Jennifer Garner, and Jason Bateman, all play it very well. Some might complain that Juno is way to quick witted and precocious, and maybe so, but if you can just go with it, you'll be fascinated by her. The music in the film is also great. Kimya Dawson (formerly of the Moldy Peaches) does several of the songs and her style fits perfectly with the mood of the film. Precocious innocence rather than naivety. Go watch this movie. It is good
