Everybody is better than Duke
So Duke was being sued by Univ. of Louisville for backing out of a 4 game agreement. They've played once, but Duke said "no mas" and backed out of the deal. Part of the agreement said that Duke would have to pay $150,000 per game if no opponent of equal stature could be found. U of L ended up scheduling games against Memphis. They weren't happy abou this. U of L said Duke should pay the $450,000. Duke challenged and said, basically, nobody is as bad as us, so any replacement should do. Well, a judge agreed with Duke. This means, that legally Duke is pretty much the worst. Click the helmet to read more.

RIP George Carlin
George Carlin died yesterday. Total bummer. Read about it HERE. I posted his 7 Dirty Words bit on this blog on the first day I started it. I still refer to it often when discussing indecency at the radio station. He also hosted the first episode of Saturday Night Live and played Rufus in the Bill and Ted movies. He'll be missed.

Giant Cow Loves the Braves...
It seems that Turner Field is getting a giant chick-fil-a cow to stand up next to the already existing giant coke bottle. The cow will do the tomahawk chop. Read about it HERE.

RIP Tim Russert
Tim Russert died today. This makes me sad. I watch Meet the Press every Sunday. He was always enjoyable to watch and did a pretty darn good job interviewing people on that show.
